ITAC Blog
Creation and development of a professional blog with idenity theft prevention as the theme. ITAC's main focus is helping people recover and prevent identity theft. The blog will also be used to highlight the ITAC Sentinel product.

Identity Theft Assistance Center (ITAC)
Assisting a professional team in development and maintenance of their newly launched web site is the main objective. Strategically reaching a target audience through an interactive web site is ITAC's main focus.

Ecohealth Homes
This endeavour is a team effort of developing a vision and creating a web presence for the residential design & build company. Strategically reaching a target audience through their marketing materials and web site is a prime focus for Ecohealth Homes.

Everlast Bathroom Remodeling
This is a multi-faceted task consisting of web and graphic design.  Printed design materials include logo design, business cards, and a full color brochure.  Web development entails creating a new and improved web presence to be consistent with printed marketing materials.  

Newport Ventures
Project consists of web development and logo design.  Web services will include domain registration, host set-up, custom banner and navigation bar, page layout and design, web optimized jpg files, and general maintenance. 

Dr. Hamilton's Gallery
Assignment involved establishing a web presence for a cosmetic, reconstructive, and implant dentistry practice.  Special attention will be given to the picture gallery portion of the site which will highlight before and after photos of Dr. Hamilton's patients.

Newport Partners LLC
An ongoing endeavor requiring web and graphic design services.  Print design includes: (1) a folder design with company logo for marketing outreach materials and (2) a marketing postcard to push attention towards a new concept in home design (3) professional proposal and report covers.  Web design entails: new page development, regular web updates, and web maintenance to company web site.

Fair Housing FIRST Project
A multi-tiered government-sponsored project.  Web design entailed developing a site to improve the overall design, navigation structure, and usability of the existing site.  Site mock-ups were used in various focus groups to acquire feedback on design and content.  A final web design was produced based on participant feedback.  Also, created print material to advertise and promote the newly designed site.  Existing marketing materials were also revised and updated.

Newport Partners LLC, Davidsonville, MD
November 2002 to July 2004 
Position comprised of web and graphic design, marketing, accounting, human resources, meeting/event planner and other miscellaneous tasks.

    • Developed and maintained a user-friendly and informative web site that described the company background and staff while detailing current project initiatives, such as the Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing. 
    • Generated original web buttons and icons; optimized photos and other graphics for the web. 
    • Created original artwork for email campaigns, direct mail advertising, and other outreach materials.
    • Designed professional publications and marketing materials, which included full-page layouts, exterior cover development, and advertising layout submissions. Formatting, proofreading, and editing reports and publications were part of the process.
    • Managed all aspects of the company accounting system using the Peachtree software program. This included accounts receivable, accounts payable, bimonthly payroll, invoicing, timesheets, direct and indirect costs, federal and state tax deposits, indirect rates, quarterly reports and bank reconciliation. Also, provided support on the DCAA Indirect Cost Submission.
    • Monitored 401(k) retirement plan and all other employee benefits and human resource issues.
    • Negotiated and coordinated the logistics for industry-related events such as recruiting of participants, marketing of events, securing facilities, and general planning and administration of the event.
    • Handled company multimedia requirements (audio, video, and photography).
    • Oversaw and coordinated issues relating to the GSA/MOBIS contract and reported quarterly sales. 
    • Assisted on several research initiatives such as survey development and phone interviews.
    • Resolved internet/email issues, along with software support and installation.
    • Instituted various administrative checks and balances for smooth and efficient business operations.
